Aquatics

Whether you are new to the world of swimming or an experienced water enthusiast, we have an aquatics program that will work for you.

Our experienced instructors guide children and adults along the journey to feeling safe and comfortable in the water.

We believe that learning to swim is not a luxury but a necessary and vital lifelong skill. For those who are further along in their aquatics journey and looking to refine skills or technique, our coaching staff will help you work on your movement in the water and help you reach your personal goals.

Why Choose Us?

  • Progressive swim lesson program from beginner to swim team levels
  • Low instructor to student ratio
  • Strong focus on technique at all levels
  • Positive reinforcement coaching
  • Year-round swim program
  • Experienced and Caring staff. All instructors are American Red Cross Lifeguards

For our health seekers, water exercise will prove to be a vital addition to your exercise routine. Water exercise provides a low impact and high cardio workout while also improving strength, stamina, stability and flexibility. It will also aid in the rehabilitation and healing of injuries that may be more difficult during land base exercising.

Dear Members,

Health First Fitness Club at Southwestern College continues to evaluate the health impacts of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  Considerations of the health and safety of all users of the club, including community members, students, guests and campus and club staff is the primary driver in determining when it is best to resume operations. As the fitness center is a Southwestern College facility, HFFC also aligns with the re-opening schedule of the college. The college is not resuming on-campus classes (except for a very few exceptions) for the fall semester. With this in mind, it has been determined that HFFC will not resume operations in 2020.

All memberships are frozen and no additional dues or fees will be charged to existing members. Prior to resuming operations, all members will be provided ample notice to decide if, and how, they would like to proceed with membership before any dues or fees will be reintroduced.

Health First Fitness Club at Southwestern College will continue to provide members with virtual fitness offerings through Facebook, Instagram, https://www.exosathome.com/   and www.healthfirstfit.wpengine.com

Please contact us if you have additional questions or if we can be of service in any way. In anticipation of a high volume of inquiries, we encourage you to email us at hffc@swccd.edu with any questions or concerns for a more rapid reply.
